RCFS Helps Local Military Families Receive Scholarships
BRENTWOOD, TN - RCFS is proud to partner once again with military education charity ThanksUSA in hosting Nashville’s Heartland4Heroes/ThanksUSA golf tournament benefitting the families of US troops.
“This is just one way we can give back to our troops who sacrifice so much in protecting our families and freedom every day,” said Robert Harrison, Chairman and owner of RCFS. “We are proud to sponsor this event for a Fifth consecutive year, building on our 2013 inaugural tournament”. To date, we have awarded 34 Scholarships and are proud to continue to do so.
Nia Gibbs-Francis was one of the recipients of the Heartland 4 Heroes/ThanksUSA Scholarships and was able to enjoy her first year at Austin Peay State University and able to study without worrying how they would afford the remaining balance of her College Tuition. As she stated, “we have helped her parents sleep at night, and that is something that cannot be given a monetary value”. I made the Dean’s list my first yearand was able to fully focus on my academics and athletics. I was also inducted into honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta and maintained a 4.0 GPA.
We at RCFS are truly proud to be able to partner with ThanksUSA to create this scholarship fund for those military spouses and children who truly deserve the assistance.
